5 Most Popular Ways To Get Rich

One way most of the wealthiest people in the world made their fortune was through publishing. Bill Gates wrote a software program that made him billions. Elvis Presley wrote songs that even decades after his death still generate millions of dollars in revenue. Newspapers made their founders millions.
The concept is simple, create something that people want, earn a small amount everytime it is sold, and you generate income for the rest of your life. It could be a song, book, poetry, newsletter, newspaper, a software program, etc.. Maybe you don't have the talent to code a software program or to record a best selling record album. Most people have a hobby. If you have spent any amount of time at your hobby you probably have become knowledgable about that hobby. Having knowledge about something means you probably know more about it then the average person. Which means you know more about that subject than half the people in the world. In a city like Los Angeles with a population of three million, that's one and a half million people that know less about your hobby than you do. Perhaps they would be interested in buying a book about your hobby? If you sold them a book and made five dollars on each copy sold, that's seven and a half million dollars for you! And that is just one city! Now you see how you can get very wealthy in publishing?
You could use a word processor to write your book and then submit your book to publisher's and see if they would publish it. A more popular route nowadays is self publishing. One method of self publishing is to pay a printer to print your book and then you sell and distribute the book yourself to bookstores. Another way (and less costly) to self publishing is to write an ebook and use the Internet to sell your book.
You first create your book in a word processor. Then you use a software program to convert your text pages into an Adobe Reader .pdf format. You can find free programs to do this at Download.com. After converting your document to .pdf you then market your eBook via your own website, Ebay, Craig's List and other places. Once you have it all set up, you will be generating income 24/7.

A couple years ago blogging became vey popular. Perhaps you already have a blog. Blogging is where you post stories about you, what you like, a trip you recently took, about your hobby, business, or life. Once you have a blog you can make money from it. The software program I recommend for blogging is Wordpress. Using Wordpress and Google's Adsense (more about this in a bit) you can make some decent money.
Here is how it works. Lets say you have a blog about stock trading. Visitors to your site are probably interested in stock investing. Companies such as E-Trade and Schwab would love to reach your visitors. So they pay Google to put ads on search results and other websites related to investing. Now get this.. they pay Google $25 or more for each vistor Google sends them. Google in return will pay YOU to put these ads on your blog. Everytime someone clicks a Google ad on your site, Google pays you $5 and bills them $25. Google pockets the difference. But imagine getting 500 clicks or more per day at $5 each and you can see the potential here.

Another way folks are getting rich involves publishing on the Internet. Many websites have what is called an "affiliate program". What they will do is pay you to send vistors to their website. Amazon.com has a program where they will pay you 10% of all the sales your website has generated. Many adult websites will pay you three cents to 25 cents for each vistor you send them. Poker Website usually pay $50 to $100 USD for every customer you send them.
Here is an example. You have a website or blog about dogs. You could go out and buy products to sell on your site but then you would have to find wholesale outlets, spend money, stock products, set up a distribution chain, etc.. That's a lot of work. But you still want to provide dog collars, flea soap etc.. on your site.
